Join McShovels and co. as we journey along with him facing his biggest demons. The trouble with building big steep jumps is that you eventually have to hit them... From building to testing, the rollercoaster of emotions that one experiences is like none other in the beautiful world of bmx trails. The second section takes us deep into rural Canada, The Saskatchewan prairies, and captures a post jam session at Cedar trails. This short film was created over the course of the year and entirely made my me and my friends - I couldn't quite find the music selection I wanted online so I ended up making my own. 15yr old Matthew Ly | 2024 BMX STREET EDIT
I got the pleasure of meeting young Matthew this summer at a BMX jam and I saw potential in him, so once I got my new fisheye, I knew he would be the perfect fit to begin my filming journey. Matthew is motivated and learning quick as he’s only been riding for a year. We had a great time filming this edit in the streets of Vancouver, Canada and the surrounding cities.
